Traveling Internationally

Traveling to another country involves risks. These risks may include delayed or canceled flights, changes to travel rules, unfamiliar places, different safety and health standards, or local problems like protests or unrest. I affirm that I’ve read this release and by signing below, I knowingly agree and accept the risks and wish to move forward with the Tour.  I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to check travel rules, alerts, and health information, visa requirements etc.  for the places I am going.

I. Accommodations 

Gaia will make reasonable efforts to provide comfortable and quality accommodations during the tour, but premium or luxury lodging may not be available in all locations. Some places may have limited options due to remoteness, availability, or local conditions. I accept that lodging may vary in quality and may not meet high-end expectations and by attending this Tour, I agree to be flexible with the accommodations as part of the overall travel experience.

II. Tour Requirements

This tour will include activities in natural or outdoor areas. These areas might have uneven ground, rocks, hills, steep paths, or other hazards. I may need to walk, hike, or ride in a vehicle for long periods. There may also be bad weather such as storms, rain, heat, or cold. I accept the risk of injury or discomfort from these conditions and agree that by attending the Tour, I am doing so at my own risk.

III. Packing and Preparing

Gaia will endeavor to provide a list of suggested items to pack but I am ultimately responsible for bringing the right clothing and gear for the Tour for comfort and safety. This includes sturdy shoes, a rain jacket, sunscreen, or medicine (both prescribed and over the counter) I may need. 

IV. Schedule Changes

Circumstances may alter the tour schedule and the itinerary may change due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, safety concerns, travel delays, or other reasons). Gaia make best efforts to follow the original itinerary but I understand that changes to the schedule may be necessary. I understand that changes may happen without notice through no fault of Gaia.

V. Travel Insurance

Gaia highly recommends buying travel insurance for the Tour. Travel insurance can help pay for things like canceled flights, lost bags, or health emergencies etc. I will be solely responsible for purchasing the proper insurance coverage prior to the Tour.

V. Waiver

I am joining the Tour at my own risk and expense. I do not hold Gaia or its employees, representatives or any third parties affiliated with Gaia responsible in the event of an accident, injury, travel delay/cancelation, theft or loss of personal items etc.
